The Dead Sea is blessed with four sources of skin-healthy elements that occur naturally in its unique ecosystem:
Water – 32% of the waters of the Dead Sea is composed of minerals with scientifically proven skin-healthy properties – by far the richest concentration of any body of water on the planet. In addition, the salty lake is the home to Dunaliella Algae, a unique age-delaying seaweed loaded with beta-carotene and containing remarkable anti-oxidant and anti-wrinkling properties.
Mud – Comprised of layer upon layer of sedimentary clay formed over thousands of years, the layers of unique black mineral mud found in the Dead Sea region yield extraordinary amounts of magnesium, calcium, potassium, strontium, boron and iron – essential to maintaining healthy, supple skin. The natural properties of mud have been scientifically proven to restore suppleness and moisture levels in overly dry skin while relieving and soothing symptoms such as soreness, roughness, redness and cracking.
Salt – Naturally invigorating salts of the Dead Sea are rich in healthy minerals, working deep to soothe and relax tired muscles, restart the skin’s metabolism, and smooth away roughness for a softer feeling.
Plants – Extracts of plants native to the Dead Sea region naturally hydrate, soothe and nourish damaged or irritated skin, adding a dimension of skin-calming relief and spa-like indulgence to our mineral-based formulations.
